Public Register
This register comprises a list of the Auctioneers and House Agents currently licensed by the Revenue Commissioners under the Auctioneers and House Agents Acts, 1947 to 1973 which was furnished to the PSRA by the Revenue Commissioners. While the register comprises the vast majority of licensed Auctioneers/House Agents a very small number requested, in accordance with the Data Protection Acts, that their details be retained by the Revenue Commissioners, for the present, and not be forwarded, to the Authority.
The PSRA will endeavour to keep this register as up to date as possible and information held on the register will be updated on an ongoing basis. It is our policy to maintain the records accurate and as up to date as possible. Accordingly, we invite licensees and members of the public to contact us at to let us know of any apparent errors or omissions noticed and we will have them corrected as quickly as possible.
The register identifies those licensees who have subscribed to the Code of Practice for Property Services Providers (Auctioneers and Estate Agents)". Please note that a number of licensees have indicated that they will sign up to the Code once they have completed reviewing administrative and procedural issues. These licensees are not currently recorded as having signed up to the Code.
Licensees are listed under their principal place of business and under both the name and trading name of the licensee (where appropriate). Any search for a licensee should take into account the existence of a Trading Name. A number of licensees continue to contact this office to inform the Authority of a change in name and/or address. This office cannot change such details unless a copy of a suitably amended licence is produced. Amendments to the register to reflect these changes will be made on an ongoing basis.
